Personal Artist/Educator Manifesto

I am a Catalyst / Alchemist / Transmedia Communicator looking for ways to inspire, connect, provoke, and transform others into their best selves while making the world a better place!

“Creativity is not a gift for an elite few; it’s a birthright. I am made in the image of God; I am both a work of art and an artist at work, calling new things into being with my life.” (Lecito365.com, 28 Nov 2025).

I have been a Christian for 40 years, a pastor for 30, and an Army Chaplain for over 20 years, yet I have been a Child of God since the beginning, and God has done a work in and through me. I want to continue to communicate and create in ways that honor and inspire!

I have many stories and Scriptures that I treasure. But one that stands is 2 Corinthians 4:5 “We don’t preach ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord and ourselves as servants for Christ’s Sake!

2 keys to this are 1: communication is about Christ, and 2: Service is for you/others for the sake of Christ.

The other is this Philippians 1:6 – He who began a good work in you.

What does it mean to connect?

  1. Who – Audience / Viewer / Consumer
  2. Thru – FORM / MEDIA / Experience
  3. Do – RESPONSE Think, Laugh, Act

An amateur asks, “What do you want me to talk about?”
A professional asks, “Who am I speaking to?” They begin to understand the context and the audience, then inspire action!

There is a conversation—a communal relationship—among the creator, the context, and how something is communicated to the consumer of content—audio, visual, and in time.

What is the point (Message) the what? and purpose (Action) or So what? to content, call to action, or intention?

I have been taking a deep dive into Otto Schumer’s Theory U, and at its essence, it is Attention, Intention, and Agency.

How does one do this – Gain Attention, with a purpose and allow the listener/viewer to create something new with it, and how do we (Prototype the emerging Future)

There is tension and attention to content that invites action and provides a choice to respond or reject, or crosses the line into manipulation, forcing action. As we create, what is too much or too little? Safe verse striking? Selfless vs Selfish? Average vs Audacious?

To be remarkable means to have done something or to create something worth remarking about. (Seth Godin)
Are we making something that matters? (Mattering vs. Marginality)

Even if someone doesn’t like the point or product, can they then understand the point and engage with the process to align with their agency?
Do it anyway!
